Dale Jeffrey, EGTI Principal
Dale has been in the equine gnathology business for over 40 years. He was the original founder of the IAEDT, Horse Dentistry and Bitting Journal and the Academy of Equine Dentistry. Although no longer affiliated with the Academy of Equine Dentistry he is proud of the fact that he has had something to do with the training of thousands of the successful practitioners of today. Dale and his brother Lloyd own and operate World Wide Equine Inc., a company building over 500 quality equine dental instruments that are shipped to over 60 countries. Dale always wanted to help horses and found his niche as a practitioner, author, inventor, manufacturer, teacher and mentor.
He is well traveled and has worked and lectured in many countries. He is the author of many published gnathological articles and seven books on equine gnathology (horse dentistry). One of his latest texts, over 8 years in production, “Equine Gnathology” is EGTI's course textbook covering fundamental and advanced equine gnathology. It is the text used by EGTI and several other popular equine dental schools. His primary goal is to help horses and the people who care for them by teaching the least abusive time tested gnathological methods using hand and power instrumentarium on sedated and non-sedated horses.
On January 24th, 2015 Dale was presented a lifetime achievement award by the IAED, International Association of Equine Dentistry at their annual convention in Fort Worth, Texas for his contributions to the field of Equine Dentistry.
On October 25, 2003 Dale was awarded an honorary Veterinary Degree from Mexico and Latin American countries for his work and contributions in the field of Equine Dentistry.
Dale runs the school with the help of well-known associates and other assistant instructors. For more information on Dale go to www.dalejeffrey.com.
